DRAMA
Students continue the exploration of character through the Unit "Melodrama".  Students discover this theatrical style through group improvisation and scripting.  Physical Theatre allows students to use images as stimulus in the creation of a movement-based perofrmance which challenges students to work in a non-naturalistic environment.  "Journeys, Epics and Adventures" allows students the opportunity to construct a short performance piece in groups which must include selects criteria, including obstacles.  This culminates in a formal assessment task which tests students' knowledge.
